Christmas Cards/Tags

This tip is probably more for after Christmas than before, but rather than recycle my Christmas cards, I go through them and keep the ones with interesting pictures, particularly the ones that have small framed pictures on. I cut out the parts that fit and use them as tags for next years gifts. You can stash them with the decorations

I was a bit distracted last year and just kept all the cards, I found them tonight and sorted them and my 4 year old helped me cut out.

Stuarty I do the exact same! my 7 year old ds has helped me the last few years, he really enjoys it, so annoying when you think 'oh that would make a lovely tag' and someones written on the back of it! haha

I spent yesterday cutting out a bunch of last years cards to fit onto cds for my window this year! They look gorgeous if I do say so myself. For the tags, cover the writing on the back with a little bit of paper and glue.
