I've no idea who got the item -- Givers do not have to reveal the identity of the Taker.

I dont think anybody else but us four asked after it before it was marked as taken??????????????

Thats why i had happily assumed Kiara had been given it. BIG SHAME maybe santie jt will find her one in her stocking

Well I'll keep an eye out for anybody I know who's getting rid of anything Kiara can use, and if she wants to take my bedroom suite after Xmas, she can take anything else I might have garnered by then too :-D

You never really notice how much STUFF goes into a house until you take a good look around, do you?
It's so expensive to furnish a house... mindboggling.

Do other threads disappear like this? It happened to me during the last week twice that I posted on a thread and when I looked for it a few hours later or the next morning they were nowhere to be found. For how long does an item has to be marked Taken before it's archived?
I don't care who takes it, but it wuld be good if it was left up as Taken for a day, so people could see it.

Hi paprika,

If a Taken ad is located near the top of the listings, our policy is to remove it soon after.

All ads posted in the Givers' forums are removed to Admin's Archive. They can be retrieved on request. Wanted ads that slip down to page 50+ are permenantly deleted.

Thanks Chris. I didn't know Taken items are removed so fast from the list. Or an item being taken within a few hours after it's posted without a potential Taker in the same area... I just wanted to give it a last look :) it was exactly what I was after :(
Anyway, I'm sure whoever got it will be very happy and have hours of joy with it and I wish them all good. :D
