Buddy/Ignore List

Hi

just saw if you click on someone's user name and the user profile comes up there are two options popping up too above the profile: add to Buddy list and add to Ignore list.
What are these? What happens if I click on them? Do they have any practical use on this site?

If you type 'buddy list' into the search at the top of the home page a list of previous 'buddy list' threads pop up, they'll explain all you need to know & have replies from Chris P.

Hi paprika,

The Buddy List and the Ignore List are default features of the software used to run the JumbleTown. Most of the code for these was stripped out by the developers of the website so neither should be used by Members.

Thanks Chris and thanks colmsmum. Just checked the thread. I gonna try this Buddy thing out, just out of curiosity :D
So the Ignore list doesn't exist either? Nothing happens if I try to add someone to that list? Not that I want to...
