Wow, I love it too--and the detail on the handles looks so well against the blue. Well done.

Hi. How many coats of paint did you use? And did you sand it first?

hi.. i gave it a quick, rough sand and two coats of paint! i needed kitchen storage asap so i wasnt fussy, just slapped on the paint!! it came out really well.
i'l let you know the paint brand, its really good quality

its johnstones trade paint. water based acrylic satin, has a lovely sheen. ive used lots of paint brands but found the quality of this brand far superior.

it was easy i have to confess..tudlytops gave it to me in perfect condition, the veneer was perfect so it painted up really well..and its a great shape so really i was making a silk purse from an old silk purse if that makes sense!
I'm onto my next jumbletown 'before and after' project tomorrow..this one is gonna be much more of a challenge.. let you all know how it goes!!! i'm hooked!!
