o.k, i wasn't really sure whether to put this in the 'before and after' or the 'thank you' thread but here's the easter bunny i crocheted (all you seasoned crafters try not to giggle too loudly), took me a while and he's very wonky looking, i made him for my baby as he was too small for easter eggs, but when i finished it last night & my 2 1/2 yr old saw it his face was priceless, his jaw dropped opened, his eyes wide like saucers "oh mammy, that's brilliant" and off he went to bed with his chubby little arms wrapped around it.

Anyway, just want to say thanks to kildare chick & bibi who kindly sent me the stuffing for it.

Gonna have to start another one now for the baby.

Hi pepperpixie, that is so cute, a bunny for all seasons I'd say. It is usually the 'wonky' (to use your word) toy that children love. Maybe they see what we don't --that none of us is perfect! Well done--nothing like home made to make it extra special.

I think wonky bunny is lovely and all the better made by your own fair hands. You are probably going to have to make 4 in total in case 1 is ever lost! Well done you!

I really like that, good excuse for me to use for him being so wonky, could say i did it that way purposely. Joking aside though that is a really nice sentiment.

ha ha sparkwell, i read your comment really quickly and nearly had a heart attack, thought you were suggesting i would need 4 bunnies for 4 kiddies.

Hi
He`s so gorgeous. I dont know if you watch Harry Hills TV Burp but myself and my 10yr old son are his biggest fans and Harry has a knitted character on his show. He`s just called "the knitted character" and yours is exactly the same shape and style only Harrys is cream with pink stripes. If youve never seen him just google Harry Hills knitted character. He`s the double of yours

Well Done 10/10
Kind regards

Well done, doesn't look wonky at all! Quite a character. At least if the worst happens and the beloved bunny gets lost or misplaced you can make another.
