I need to repaint the garage door. I'm told it is the old (Henderson I think) steel door. The paint is chipping off in different places. I could do with some advice on how to do the prepping. Do I have to take all of the old paint off and start from scratch or just sand the chipped bits? And what to use? I've seen the mention of Nitromors for using on an old gate, (on this thread). Any advice would be appreciated.
