Computer Equipment to Give Away? Here's another option...

Hi Everyone,

If you have computer equipment to give away, here's a worthy option you might consider -- the computer charity www.camara.ie

You can donate your computer equipment to this charity who will delete your data, refurbish and reinstall educational software/HIV awareness software, and will send the equipment to a school in Africa at a cost of €5 per PC to that school.

You can make a voluntary donation of €20 per PC to help with the costs of refurbishment and shipping to Africa. Computers are a great facilitator of education. Why not give your computer equipment a second life to help change the lives of those who need access to education?

I spoke to a guy from camera and he said a contribution whatever you would like to give usually 20euro when you give in your old pcs, i have 3 with all the accessories and unfortunately have to wait until someone is going to dublin as there isnt one any closer. so much for wanting to recycle and send to africa for such a good cause.
