Hi
Can anyone help me please I've just been given some 4" marble kitchen tiles and want to re-use them.. Can anyone suggest a safe method for removing the adhesive and grout from them without damaging the tiles themselves ???

I would be grateful for any feedback

Many thanks

Step 1
Pour 1/4 cup dish washing liquid into a quart-size spray bottle. Fill the remainder of the bottle with cool water. Shake the bottle to mix the contents.

Step 2
Spray the cleaning solution on the area with the adhesive. Wash the area with a sponge. Rinse the area with cool water and a sponge. Dry with a soft towel. Dampen a soft cloth with rubbing alcohol. Rub the adhesive with the rubbing alcohol until it is gone.

Step 3
Wash the marble floor tiles again with the dish washing liquid solution to ensure all the rubbing alcohol is removed from the surface. Rinse the tiles with cool water and a sponge. Dry the marble floor tile with a soft towel.

vinegar is great for all sorts of things. you could try it and see if it works.
