hi
It is! Gets lovely and toasty warm during the day when we leave the door open and shut it up at night. Seedlings havent died yet anyhow! :-)

Did you know that there is a theory that the bottle with water in it (better still a balloon) makes insects see a magnified image and scares them away? ;-)) Very good if you are hosting a BBQ.
Not sure if it discriminates between beneficial and non-beneficial insects. lol |
very good well done

Well done on the tunnel Madfrozen, it's not easy to stretch the plastic tight all around. Hi mondubics, you've just given me an idea to keep midges away while im saving the turf!! |
Well done - great thinking there. I'm trying to figure out the floating bottle as I can't really see the details in the photo. How is it attached to the coat hanger and the thing that holds it up in the air as well?

Maybe your search should have been for (heavy duty) sheet plastic? |
bottle
Hi,
thanks.... The bottle just has a hole made in the cap of the bottle and the coat hanger is threaded through to a hole in the base. Then you cut flaps out of the middle of the bottle and fold back alternate flaps to create like a windmill. Was intended to stop the hens and or birds from attacking the veg.... |
great idea...well done mate..
