this is my concrete yard
paving from gumtree.
buddha from auction rooms sandycove.
second buddha half price.
pergola made from bits
sculpture painted broken boughs
bamboo from a jumbeltowner, thanks, i call it the beast!
water barrel - tip off, quarter barrel, thick skin i went and asked for!
waterfall, cracked but working, end of last summer sale.
ditto swingseat
thatch, reed screen, doesnt really work!

chairs, from skip, painted up
coffee table ceramic pot given free as cracked.
top a paving slab, Euro5
table by swingseat cut trunk - free, paving slab bought
two tree trunks, cutting trees down nearby - free.
pottery shoe planters was a jumblertowner gift. the planter with the stick sculpture, car boot E17 great.
wee buddha bartered down price, chipped at base.
star from charity shop a euro.
tin watering can, charity shop.
glass table mat 50p, charity shop!
wall sculpture, ragged old shrub stripped and preserved, gargoyle auction.
broken pot, given.
grass under swingseat and by quarter barrel placed on solid concrete but good run off slope hope it survives, saved from digging in the front.

Wow you are extremely resourceful! I love how you utilised the space and got so much into it.
Can't believe you got the chairs from a skip!! Bravo well done for a fantastic job.

this was bare concrete of beer bottles and glass and junk all over the place. came here last july, had to do the house at same time, so i know i have a long way to go with this 'skeleton' it now needs 'lush'!!!

the nep of my dear dads best friend called today, he of mega Garden design fame, real mega. He was impressed with my yardenette, very impressed and i am so chuffed to bits.
really really chuffed, AND this time, didnt forget to pass the plate of bikkies, last time so flustered i forgot, and he only got ONE!!!

well we have grass, and fishies and a full water barrel now, the sunflowers are amazing and i must post some more pics soon!!
i love it but may have to leave as i was nearly attacked by a neighbour!!!
