removing paint

have you tried nitromors? it blisters the paint and you can scrape it off then... have only done it on wood though, not tiles, so not sure if it will affect them or not, probably not very 'green' though :(

Put on rubber gloves, Use'' nitromors'', ( available in paint stores) to soften the paint remove with a paint scraper , repeat a few times and use a wire or steel scouring pad or steel wool to remove the minute parts or maybe a soft wire brush . Rinse off the area with cloth dipped in white spirits after you've removed all the paint .

Have you tried JIP Cream with a damp scrubber, I use the green rectangle scrubbers because satinwood comes off quite easily, it worked on a glass table top.

Hi guys

Thanks for all the replies but in the end used industrial paint stripper, not very eco friendly but effective. Thanks again for all the help
