They are always a problem (before) and after an election.

Who will be the first JTer to give this a go?

Thanks TickTock, a great idea. Saw this a while ago and have been threatening to head out with the pliers since... http://www.culturge.com/2009/06/turn...guerrilla.html

Fan-flippin'-tastic Mandolin! I would love to make some planters myself but from the photos not entirely sure how they went about it. Have you any clearer instructions? What did they use to hold them together?

It looks like they used Plastic Snap rivets but zipties would probably work as well. But... we didn't have to look so far, I found this thread from last year (should've known some of the geniuses here would have come up with something clever) http://www.jumbletown.ie/forums/show...ection+posters Definitely have to head out with the pliers now!

Yes, I had seen but forgotten all about the surf board, that was a great idea too! I could do with making those planters but don't know if I could do a good job or not.

Another use

These would be great for keeping the frost off the newly planted spuds - just the job!

Don't allow the damn things in the first place and they won't be a problem...

Don't they all get recycled afterwords?

TickTock 03-03-2011 04:50 PM

Unfortunately tudlytops I don't have the power to ban 'em. Some of these do seem to escape the retrieval system and hang around for years!! Just thought some JTers could use any leftovers in a creative way.
