How to dispose of old fire extinguisher?
 
Can anyone please tell me how to dispose of an old unused fire extinguisher.
They didnt know in my local recycling centre!

Hi Nadirene,

I'd say that fire extinguishers are classed as hazardous waste so you need the Chemcar, a mobile collection service for household hazardous waste. Collection times and other details for Co. Wicklow can be found at the link below:

I also suggest that you phone your local authority to confirm the above.
