Dublin 10 and a half????

As a non-dub I don't know the Dublin postcodes so maybe folks could give some indication of their general area by name as some parts of the city are more accessible in a Jumbletown sense with regard to collecting and it would save messaging if I knew where people were.

Joined last week and have given all my first threads already. J'town is still not well known enough.I have passed posters to friends.

Thanks, Steveoo

Hi Steveoo,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've put a map and list of Dublin's postcodes in a "stickie" at the top of the Support Forum here:
http://www.jumbletown.ie/forums/showthread.php?t=13698

I'll try to name more of the localities in each of the postcode areas when I get a chance.

Thanks also for helping to spread the word by printing off JumbleTown's A4 posters. Much appreciated!

Hi Steveoo and Chris,

Well i'm glad i'm not the only one! I'm forever asking the other half where's D where ever? and generally he hasn't a clue so i don't reply to the listing. I'm hopeless with Dublin postcode's, i only know about 3 so thanks to both of you, for the question (steveoo) and for the list (chris) and a big thank's to jumbletown for considerably improving my map reading skill's, lol.

Best regard's,

Colmsmum.

dublin postcodes

Hi

It might be worth pointing out that odd numbers are Dublins Northside and Even numbers are the southside.

Also the lower the number the closer they are to the city. e.g Dublin 1 is Dublin City Centre north of the liffey i.e. O'Connell street etc. Dublin 2 is south of the liffey westmoreland street, stephens green, Dublin 18 is a large area covering Dun Laoghaire to Shankill to sandyford. Dublin 15 is Castleknock, blanchardstown, ongar, tyrellstown etc. Dublin 24 is Tallaght area.
