Making a Table from scaffolding planks.
3 Attachment(s)
I've been looking for a nice large rustic table an never been able to find what I wanted -at least not at a reasonable price. So I thought I'd have a go.
I found some old scaffolding planks that weren't good enough for construction anymore and joined them together with some old 2x4 planks. After a lot of glueing, planning and sanding I had a nice table. I stained the 2x4 with some dark woodstain to get a nice effect and varnished the lot. Voila! a nice new table I also made a small video of various angles here: http://olivierlonguet.blogspot.ie/20...new-table.html |

Absolutely fabulous, I always wanted a huge table (like you see on american movies with them all sitting around at Christmas!) but they are HUGE money. Must show this to my husband and try and talk him into doing it for me. Great work.

Gorgeous table! The dark wood stain shows off the beautiful wood grain nicely and is a great contrast-Great job
