Upcycling a side table
2 Attachment(s)
As promised here is the pic of the side table I was gifted. Only took a little bit of time, a few licks of paint and a new drawer knob to kick it back into life - it now looks wonderfully quirky in the kitchen - I'm delighted!

Looks great. What type of paint did you use? have heard a lot about chalk paint, didn't use it yet thought.

Thanks guys!
I used a latex paint over a good primer - as not only did I have some in the shed to start with (so it all actually came to be cost free) its a side table in the kitchen - so it has a few jars on it, flower pots, old cookie jar for the wooden spoons and all that - so I wanted it to be hard enough wearing/washable as I'm a messy cook :) I wonder how the chalk paint would stand up in stains and all that.
