Furniture restorers names???
 

Does anyone know of any place that takes old furniture to do up? FAS or training schemes and such. Thanks

You could try the Rediscovery Centre (a community furniture recycling project), which is part of the Ballymun Regeneration Programme.

The initiative was set-up to encourage the repair and reuse of broken or damaged household furniture items in the community.

Repaired items are sold at the local farmers market which operates in Ballymun once a month. The income from sales of repaired items contributes to supporting the project and staff.

Residents with suitable items for repair can contact the workshop and make arrangements for items to be collected. The service primarily serves the Ballymun and Environs (Finglas and Santry etc.) although all items and locations will be considered.

If you have an item which you think is suitable for repair, contact the workshop manager Mr. Liam McCotter on 01-8422078.
