suggestion for the future re JT posters
hi guys,
Just edited this post to just outline that it was a suggestion I was making and I was not trying to critisize the good work of the guys on JT - Chris and Dave. I think it would be good to change the image on the poster and to shorten the information down, this would perhaps make the poster more eye catching and easier to read from a distance on a noticeboard. Admin are extremely busy but I'm sure they don't mind ideas for the future, as they have already outlined. I'm a new member and I think that the site is run excellently, fair play to u all and I am glad to see that it is expanding every day! |

Sounds like great idea.

I don't know if you've downloaded and viewed the complete poster but if you do, you'll notice that it contains lots of information about what JumbleTown does. A4-size posters can be viewed and downloaded...here: http://www.jumbletown.ie/posters.htm The "guy with the moustache" is General Kitchener. His image is one of the best known in advertising and is traditionally used by advertisers to rally support for a particular cause. We have no intention of changing the poster at this time. Thanks for the feedback. Regards Dave Hagan Admin |
Hi Dave, I saw an image else where on here sayin Jumbletown Needs U! and i thought that was the poster, i see the poster from the url u posted has lots of information but i still think the image could be improved and usually "less is more" for information on posters.
I know that u are busy and dont have time to make alterations to the poster but maybe a JTer could design one and the admin could just add a link? |
Hi Jennifer,
Sorry, at the moment there are no plans to start a poster competition. Regards Dave Hagan Admin |
I love the Jumbletown poster as it is. I would say that it'd be a lot of hassle for admin if it was changed.
