would anyone have ideas on making Easter decorations from recycled materials?

Did you ever try egg blowing Paprika. Is so easy, if you google it you'll find lots of articles. Then you can decorate them how you wish and make scrambled eggs from the contents, so nothing goes to waste, lol!

Thanks colmsmum, I used to do it when in kindergaten, but that was ages ago :D I will try it again.
I just saw an idea, you can paint your eggs brownish by cooking them with onion skins tied onto them with tights, reddish with beetroot, yellow with furze flowers, than you can get a few aluminium trays, the ones you get in take aways, and cut out shapes from the bottom, or little dots with a puncher, and glue these onto the eggs. They look deadly, and decorated with recycled material. And you can still eat the hardboiled eggs!

Actually something really easy to do and I did it last year - get a facecloth and roll it into a long strip. Then place a creme egg in the middle (standing up if you know what I mean). Pull the facecloth up the sides of the egg and tie with a ribbon at the top. You now have two pieces sticking up at the top. Place a small piece of double sided sticky tape at the bottom of one piece (just above the ribbon) and stick part of the two pieces together. Place googly eyes on here and the remaining loose parts are the ears. All you need now is a cotton ball for it's scut and you're done! I hid them down the garden and my little woman thought it was great.

A good friend of mine gave me a great Easter present last year, she got an empty egg box, then put one Mars egg, Aero Egg, Caramel Egg, Creme Egg, etc all in each holder and that was it, all six containers were filled. I thought it was great and so individual. Loved it too as i was watching my weight too!

As for egg blowing, we did that years ago, top hole small and bottom hole bit bigger, lot easier! (Found this on the website listed on how to do the eggs: With one whole drilled out of the fatter end. The eggs are drained, then washed out with an apple cider vinegar solution, not chemicals. They are then dried in a microwave to make the shells stronger)

We came down Easter morning,as young children and were told to eat our eggs, and couldnt leave the table till we did. They were in our personalised egg cups, so we all sat and cracked open our eggs, and to our delight they were filled with chocolate!!Mmm, of course we ate our boiled eggs first, then had our chocolate eggs!

Here's some ideas for twig trees & twig wreaths paprika. They didn't cost me a cent, I had all the stuff in my craft stash and they can be re-used next year!

I don't really get the facecloth bunny, bluecurlygirl, but will try to follow the steps with a facecloth in my hand, cause it sounds nice.

Found a few ideas browsing the net. The first two can be made from cardboard or thin plywood, the third uses tea bags (the individually wrapped ones) and the last is just something from recycled materials.
