Washing Duvets
I don't have the money now to send the winter duvets for drycleaning so yesterday I 'hand' washed them. 3/4 filled the bath with hot soapy water, cleaned my wellies and stamped on the duvets for 15...

Recycling old pillows
I put an old one in a bin liner and use it to stuff the chimney to keep out draughts, I left a string dangling down though to remind me to pull it out when I start lighting the fire again. M.

Silicone stains
Hi, I've used that unibond silicone remover stuff and it works alright, it smells a bit like vinegar though... maybe vinegar might work if you leave it on long enough. Mandolin
