inherited the compost heap

i moved to a place where a person was 'into' composting, its jammers to the brim.
using the compost it looks and seems glorious, but included in that bin are coat hangers, tin foil and it seems...

big difficulty with walls

i had explained that when i removed old wallpaper from my new home the walls were awful and now in dilemma.
i dont feel i can afford to lay plaster and nor do i feel that lining paper will do the job...

awful walls after the old wallpaper came off

the peeling wallpaper was removed as best could by myself, twin and three men :)

painting woven baskets

i got a tall boy thing with wicker baskets off a jt and wonder if its difficult to paint em or do you just have to get the small brush in there and attack for hours on end!

lampshade too big

hi, i got a lovely lampshade in a charity shop but the circular thing that holds it onto the stand is too big.
in a shop the guy showed me that you can get a plastic clip on gizmo to make the circle...

the people who set them told me not to trust these tradespeople sites but FGS why would an electrician say to me that no rewiring would be needed...

moving a large solid looking shed?

i have inherited a massive very solid and sturdy shed in my new place but its slap in front of the kitchen.
would it be difficult to move?
