Getting rid of persistent weeds

They seem to be around some stones,just pour hot water on them and it's safer than weed killer. My neighbour always poured the water from cooking her vegetables over the weeds on her path

Hi, With any chalk paint it's best after painting to give it a light sanding which should help to smooth it then you wax it or varnish it. For a fire surround you could also use an eggshell paint and...

Replacement Glass or Perspex for Greenhouse

Hi,

Have bought a second hand galvanised Glasshouse but need to replace most of the glass or even change it to perspex, does anyone know where to get it at a reasonable price?

Hi,

You can also clean tea stained cups with bread soda, just dampen inside the cup then with a cloth rub round the inside, hey presto, staining gone.

Any big-ish packaging can be cut to fit into spaces between timbers in your attic space, B and Q sell it by the sheet for this purpose.
