hi i tried the hawk thing long time ago and ended with
no birds atall.it got rid of all the little birds .

hi had same problem got sum 2by1timber and put it round
my cabbig area criscros twine and put sum plastic bags on it
and it worked no more holes in it.

hi reebok
hens are grate to have our kids love them.
if you havent got a closed pen and the fence is low they will fly out
but if you get one wing cliped it will stop them flying out.
i have 19 hens...

hi we use ash and cinders all the time rhubarb growes very healty and quick
onions grow gint size. snails and slugs hate them. very good in rose beds
you should see my wife;s rose beds.

woodchip or sawdust "cooker"

i cut my own fire wood when i can find trees
i get a 40 gal drum cut the top off put a 2 inc hole in center
of the end put a handle of a fork in the hole. fill all round and up to 10 inc
from top...

paint

glass paint can be a bit of a rob so why not use water based paint
like i use when i paint glass.and a coat of varnish clear. you can
get a lot more colors with water based paints and mix your own...
