Several uses
Goats will eat it all for you, and turn it into milk, cheese, etc for you.
Pigs will turn it over and get rid of the rushes and then you can plant it
Sheep will just stay out there and mind it for you with a hair cut and nail care once a year
Trees are fine if they like the wet, if you are going for an orchard drainage will be necessery.
Firewood, sycamre and Ash are good and reasonably tollerent of the wet, Birch likes the wet but does not burn well.
Raspberries and blackcurrents will love it as will gooseberries - thoug dont combine them with the goats.
