Hi moaner byrne,
The fact that you've just made the post above indicates that you can make posts and can add an item.
To add an item to the Givers' forum or the Wanted forum, follow the instructions below:
First of all, make sure you are logged in (top right of Home Page) and tick the "Remember Me" box; otherwise the system will automatically log you off if it detects that you haven't browsed the site's pages for 15 minutes or so:
To add an item:
1. Click on the appropriate category in the listings (e.g. Furniture or Audio-Video etc).
2. Click the "Add New Item" button at the top left of the listings.
3. Read the instructions on the "Before You Add an Item" page.
4. Scroll down this page and click on "Continue to Add an Item."
5. Write details about your item in the boxes provided.
6. Scroll down and click submit.
7. Press the F5 button at the top of your keyboard to refresh your page-view so that you get an up-to-the-minute view of the listings.
