Hi Victoria,
I found the following information on Wicklow County Council's website -- no mention of accepting wood at the Arklow recycling centre, I'm afraid:
"Recycling
By the end of 2003 three recycling centres were open in Wicklow, Arklow and Avoca. The centres accept a full range of materials including cans, glass, plastic, bottles, cardboard, paper, newspapers, magazines, batteries, ringos, calendars, diaries, phone books, wrapping paper, light bulbs, tetra paks, books, school books, mobile phones and ink-jet cartridges. The Wicklow Centre also accepts green waste while the Avoca Centre accepts white goods, such as fridges and cookers, and electrical goods.
The Blessington Recycling Centre will open in 2004; planning process is underway for two further centres at Bray and Priestnewtown, Greystones."
