You could do what we did. Planted it with various types of alder and ash to create our very own source of timber for the wood burning stove that heats our house and water. In about eight years time we'll be totally self sufficient for fuel. The alder in particular loves soggy ground and both are good to burn.
In the meantime, about ten years, you could learn how to coppice them properly so that you're not just cutting them down but helping them grow.
