A wee word of advice.
This thread is very interesting, because it might alert people to be more aware of what they are getting into.
On the painting haysheds issue, most contractors that paint haysheds use some kind of thinners in the red/green oxide when they spray. The problem in my experience is that sometimes they use too much to increase their profit levels.
if you need sheds,fences or your house painted you buy the paint yourself. Insist that all empty tins are left on site and insist that if they are thinning product that they use something thats recommonded for the job ( not diesel)
Most contractors have their own ladders ( you should not be asked to pay for them to hire out one).
Most professional contractors will not ask you to pay for their equipment ( brushes rollers filling knives etc.)
Always get at least 3 quotes and look for references a person that makes their living using a brush or roller will gladly supply you with references.
