hi everyone,
just seriously worried my twin now disabled will be taken for a ride.
quote for her jobs came to over E7,000. this was to insulate and lag attic/tank/pipes.
fix a leaky toilet, new taps on radiators, new boiler and emersion and to rehang internal doors and hall doors, seal the hall door and airate insulation rubber that has got tired.
i think all far too much, eg quote for rehang of hall door alone, cost E100
defo the attic and pipes/tank need doing asap.
he also told her to forget the insulation grants cos it takes forever to do the forms and you'd only get about E200 for this anyway at the end of the day.
advice sought on this.
both of us completely new to this, and single women can be milked. i believe anyway.
