Default Look for another quote

At the very least you should look for another quote.

Contact a maintenance company from the golden pages and explain what you need done and that you're looking for a quote for the work.

I gather from your previous posts that your sister has a disability.

There are schemes available where you can get the insulation done for free.

My mother got her attic, all the pipework and tanks insulated. She also had all the doors and windows draught proofed, all her light bulbs replaced with energy savers and an outside light installed.

If needed she could have had her radiators and boiler replaced also.

She got this work done because she was over 66 and living on her own.

IF you don't ask you'll never find out.

If any contractor tells you that the forms are too much Hassle etc He is a COWBOY and most likely not registered for tax or hasn't got a proper C2.

Advise your sister to steer clear and get someone that has a more professional approach.

Regards,

Fries.
