![]() Well Steve, I use the paint scraper and it hasn't done mine any bother. Don't dig into the sides of the freezer or you will damage it.. Give the ice a good wallop to loosen it. Happy defrosting! I only do mine when I'm in a bad mood. The Steam Cleaner sounds like a good idea. I might try that. Athy55

![]() I usually put in a basin of hot water and close the lid for a while. See what comes away easily then. Repeat until it is all gone. No sharp objects used.
