![]() I picked this old telephone table out of the timber recycling skip in my local recycling centre. I sat in the shed all winter and finally got to work on it last week. There was a seat part at one side and a box/shelf bit at the other side. First I removed the box bit and was left with a plain bench with a space at one side. I removed four planks from a pallet, cut them to size, screwed them in place, then stained and varnished them with yacht varnish for good outdoor protection. Another free seat for the garden.
