ESB Savings

Hi not sure if everyone noticed on their ESB bill there was a notice on the right hand side Call and make saving - there are 14% savings - 8% if you are a customer over 1 year - 4% if you have direct debit and 2% if you have online billing - there is also more discounts offered if you have gas.

the savings was worth about €20 odd to us

so i hope this helps to make some more savings in these hard times, Cheers Laura

That's great, do you have to call them, wont they just apply the savings?

Apparently, the ESB will only apply the advertised savings to your electricity account if you apply for same!!

You can do it online as well. I had to chase them up for confirmation after 2 weeks.
You'd think they would do this automatically.

The girl on the phone said that we had to ask a bit stupid as alot of my family & friends never even noticed the piece!!! Cheers Laura
