![]() Hello to all my JT friends,
I am looking for advice please, I need to store some white linen sheets, pillowcases, & other bits & pieces, some quite old. Do any of you experts have suggestions on the best method of storing, to avoid brown fold marks. When I last did it I used tissue paper & then brown paper, however when opened some pieces had nasty brown 'fold marks' I have now bleached & rewashed these, so i'd appreaciate any advice. Somebody mentioned to me that blue tissue paper might be the answer!! Thanks, Bunty |

![]() Hi Bunty,
I don't know if this will work for you but i usually wrap the item's in tissue paper then put them into a black bag and store them in a dark place ie; hot press, attic and they're fine. I stored a christening blanket like that for 4 year's, when i took it out it was perfect. Hope this help's. Best regard's, Colmsmum. |
