![]() This chair belonged to my granny and for that reason I wanted to keep it.
Sanded it all down, applied undercoat, painted the colours to match my fabric and was delighted with it, then came the varnishing, I used a clear varnish which was going to do the job wonderfully (according to mister hardware man), however the varnish was not clear as promised and now the chair has a slightly dirty look to it, because this took longer than expected I have decided to leave it, Granny would not mind. The lovely chair now sits in my spare room. |
