Ground cover

Any one know of ground cover (flowering?) for rough ground or sandy, pebbly soil - not higher than 2 or 3 inches. I would like advice or name of tiny plants or very short grass (just a little higher than moss) Thank you

Hi there, try Ajuga. This is a plant that spreads by runners. Comes in two varieties, green shiny leaves and variagated green and pink. Both have small purple spike flowers about 3 inches higg. Not expensive and spreads well. Controllable, just pull up what you dont want and throw away or give away on Jumbletown.
