What to do with old metal bars?

We are having a clean up/tidy up this afternoon, an area in our estate has been allowed gather other peoples unwanted items. From bikes/buggies the lot. Do all of these items have to go to landfill, or could they be reused?

Hi I know some recycle centres have a section for scrap metal/iron etc, check out the one in Trim, you can phone them,should be under Trim recycle
centre or maybe there is one nearer to you.You would have to bring it to them.
