![]() Hi everyone,
I live in a lovely 5th floor apartment (furnished with some help from JT) that gets lovely sun on the balcony in the evenings....unfortunately the pigeons agree. Was just wondering if there's an easy solution to deter them? I don't want to kill them just encourage them not to roost and poop here. The only solution I've seen are those spikes that come in stripes, the spikes are about 6-8 inches though and I think make a place look like a prison. Am hoping, against hope I imaging, that there may be some sort of chemical that is harmless but has a smell they don't like...but that doesn't bother me. Just a shot in the dark but if anyone has any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them. |

![]() Hi there, was just looking that up, and found some good ideas!! one that would suit you is to make a windsock!! with animal print on it.. also make a scarecrow!!! and make it as life like as possible, and like an animal,, ie, cat.. and move it every couple of days. this is supposed to work very well. Another idea, is Electric fence!! that sounds friendly too. well goodluck. :)

![]() Ok this is it.. Get a transfer or draw out an image of a bird of prey... stick this on your window...... This is meant to give smaller birds the impression of being dinner for the bigger bird so they say. Think the image can be just a cut out of black, make sure the bird drawn is flying... so pigeon thinks it'll be dinner so will clear off.. Bet your view is gorgeous up there! Good luck
