![]() That is very nice though the wardrobe looks like it might have been a good one. Still it must brighten the room a lot.

![]() Id imagine it was a good one way back Joanmul,it was vey well made and much deeper than modern wardrobs with big deep drawers at the bottom,it was on one big platform with legs but when i was pulling the old carpet out it fell apart,it also had some woodworm underneath,iv just been looking at the otherside of it and i noticed theres a crack down the center panel and a length of beading misseing, that can be replaced easy enough but the crack is not sitting flush so im hopeing the wallpaper might cammoflage it.
The room itself is the biggest problem with crumbling walls and the floor joyces rotten at the walls so those peices will have to be replaced, insulated plasterboards are to expensive so all i can do is bond and plaster them and do a couple of coates of insulating paint and hope for the best, its a big one to at 25x15 and normaly id look forward to it but not this time, the ceilings are a pain because there 10ft and im only 5"3 lol. Ah well,il just take it one wall at a time, maybe il post a pic or 2 as i go. |
