arm warmers
I had these thigh-high stockings that I found I didn't really like wearing. I cut the feet off and knit a lacy ruffle. I had intended them for ordinary wear as arm warmers but found that they matched a coctail outfit I have. I wore them to a dinner and everyone thought they were part of the outfit.
