![]() The bottom plate on the front door of our rented house had lost it's rubber seal, so i came up with the idea of using my old bike tyre, which has been waiting for a purpose for over 2 years now ;)
Measure the width and cut out the center part of the tyre to this length, this is the only bit that will be flat. The width will depend if you have a gap. Using a quick drying strong glue, coat the metal groove where the seal was fixed originally, slide the cut tyre into the groove. Allow to set before closing the door. |
