wooden rustic mantelpiece
hi, Im looking to get a new mantelpiece for my fire place.I would like, just the wood going accross the top, kind of like a railway sleeper , but not as big, have you any idea where to get one.

Hi Cathy, I would suggest you go to any builders providers and get a scaffolding plank and get it cut to the required length

,thanks, are they as wide as a railway sleeper, , its ok to cut it down but , if its as side as a sleeper,Im not sure about that.I think , maybe homebase might cut to lenght ,Ill give them a try, thanks a million for the help,
