![]() Hi I'm new to Jumbletown and have gotten lots of ideas already for re-using items I no longer need!
I have a very small apartment garden that hasn't been touched in 6 years but I am inspired now to make it an enjoyable space and hopefully find space for some vegetables too! Limited budget though so am trying to re-purpose items. I have an old bench I plan to paint and make cushins for and lots of old containers that I can paint and revamp. A few old teapots too as planters as inspired by a thread here! I have the metal hoop/ring from a broken hubcap and am looking for ideas for it. So far all I can think of is some sort of wind chime or dream catcher. Are there any practical uses for it in a garden? Thanks, looking forward to becoming a Jumbletowner!! |

![]() I'm not very clever at upcycling and usually have to steal someone else's ideas but I'm sure some JTer will have done something with hubcaps. Meanwhile, I was checking online and I found some sites you might like to peep at:

![]() Hi, I have a few of these and have not really done anything with them yet. I shaped one into a love heart and was going to decorate it with paper flowers or you could turn it into a memo holder like the one in Argos page 996 (code number 623/5594). You just need some soft wire, maybe an old coathanger to finish it. Looking forward to hearing other jumbletowners ideas. As for the garden maybe you could support it upright in a container and let ivy grow around it.

![]() I love these Tick Tock. I have them pinned in Pinterest. You can find lots of ideas for recycled crafts there.
