![]() Hi everyone,
we are in the process of renovating our house and have decided to replace the door frames (jambs). However we are finding that the new timber for the frames is about half an inch narrower than the originals which is making a very messy job of putting new architrave on. Any suggestions or am I the only one experiencing this problem? |

![]() Would you use 4" skirting as architrave? We used it as architrave as we thought the 3" architrave looked very 'mean' looking ... 4" much nicer imho

![]() Thanks for your reply, Only, but it is the frame we have the problem with, not the architrave.
