Coffee Table
Hi Everyone,
Here's another "Before & After" item sourced from JumbleTown. This time, a retro-coffee table is transformed into something approximating art by self-confessed design-nut, Zee. Zee writes: "I took my inspiration from the €1,600 Gio Ponti-designed "Paolo" console table and Marimekko's Vapaa Pudotus fabric. For the most part I was able to use paints and supplies I already had, so the total cost for this project was a scandalously cheap €13." http://www.homebug.net/2008/04/befor...geometric.html Check out Zee's very stylish blog...here: http://www.homebug.net/ |

Wonderful work
What a great transformation on this table. Zee did a marvelous job!
(OK, it wouldn't go well with my chintzy shabby chic look but I can appreciate all tastes) The thing is it got recycled and was changed to suit its owner. Great inspiration for others. It could have been given a dozen different looks by a dozen different people. Love it. |

A separate Before & After forum was suggested a while back by a few Members. The Managers and Techies are mulling over it at the moment. I'll keep you updated. Regards Chris P Admin |
