Default name that house !

hi everyone , my son and his partner have just bought a house that overlooks a lake now they are looking for a name for it and all they can come up with is lake view ! i suggested loch radharc but they thought i was mad ! all ideas welcome

that sounds nice but she doesnt like irish names and she is irish !

I suppose it depends on what type of house it is, if it's a small cottage near the lake I would suggest maybe Lakeside Lodge, or if it's near a forest/wood I would suggest Haven Glade.

Good luck with it whatever they choose, hope they are very happy there!

haven glade sounds beautiful its like something from a romantic novel ! its a two storey looking down over a lake, thank you gillo for your good wishes

How about "Lago Vido" -- lake view in Esperanto.

thanks to everyone who replied with names but im afraid she is going with lake view! i got them a granite plaque made with that name on it for their wall entrance pier as a christmas present thx again and happy xmas everyone xx
