Default Question - re: Receiving messages from other potential Takers

can anyone tell me why I am getting messages form people looking for the same thing as me when I am not the giver. Does that make sense?

Hi Izzyizzy,

The emails you are receiving are "notification emails" automatically generated by JumbleTown whenever someone makes a post on an ad/thread you have also made a post on.

When you make a post on an ad/thread, you have the option of "subscribing" or "unsubscribing" to the activity on that ad/thread. This keeps you up to date on the Giving and Taking process. The subscription option box is at the very bottom of the pop-up page where you write your post enquiring about an item.

You can edit your subscriptions (subscribe or unsubscribe to ads) by clicking on the "User CP" (User Control Panel) button to the left of the log-in area.

Regards
