Default Rocking chair

I got this beautiful piece of furniture from adverts.ie
It was traditionally stained and upholstered and had been left outside.
The original stuffing & foam was dank & needed to be replaced.
Got a wonderful surprise when I began sanding and found this wonderfully patterned hard wood beneath the dark brown stain. ( a massive job! Logged 24 hours total sanding, was glad when that job was over, but very happy I did it, didn't stop me contemplating painting it half way through. )
Looked and looked for a nice green, fresh colour leather & eventually got this on ebay. So here's the before & after

Beautiful work. The Bright green gives a lovely modern twist to a vintage item. Wel done.

Default Lovely work Cherry

That's fab Cherry - very well done. You've done a great job. That wood looks tricky to sand ;-)

Default Rocking chair

You did an amazing job and I can just imagine all the elbow grease.
Be very proud of yourself, it's lovely to see up cycled stuff.
So take a bow.
