Default What does 'closed thread' mean?

I recently posted up an item, but under it states 'Sorry! This thread is closed!'.
What does that mean exactly?

Hi unadi,

It looks like you closed or locked the ad/thread when you first posted it.

TIP: Members can open/close their own ads by clicking on the Thread Tools button above the time (at the top right of your ad). After clicking on Thread Tools, choose the option you want from the dropdown box and then clcik Perform Action at the bottom of the dropdown box.
