How do I unsubscribe to a thread. I saw the answer around here before but I can't find it now.
Thanks

Hi

You go into "Private Messages" and on the left side you will see a list of options, go to "Subscriptions" click and there you will see the threads you subscribed to, you can use the drop down options to decide what you want to do.

Hope this helps

Go to the thread that you want to unsubscribe from. On the right hand side of the thread you will see the Thread Tools option. Click on the arrow beside it and different options will appear, just select the unsubscribe from thread. That should do it.

You're welcome Dave. HappyHunter, the end result is all that matters lol. Gabsdot, don't worry, you'll soon get the hang of it. Good Luck

Is it possible to unsubscribe completely? Anytime I post on my own ads I subcribe to them again... Do I have to unsubscribe after every occasion? Or is there any way to unsubscribe for once and for all?

Thank you.
Regards,
p

Hi Paprika,

To unsubscribe completely, i.e, never receive any email notifications about new posts on any ad/thread, click on the User CP button (User Control button) in the dark blue bar at the top of this page beside the log-in box.

Then choose Edit Options from the Control Panel on the left hand side of the page.

Go to the Messaging & Notification box (see screenshot below).

View the Default Thread Subscription Mode section.

Choose Do Not Subscribe from the drop-down box.

Scroll down and hit the Save Changes button.

Note: The subscription/automatic email notification system lets Members know what is happening on an ad/thread. Admin recommends that Members use it. Otherwise, Members would have to check their ads individually to see if they have any posts on them.

Regards
